Cryo surgery is a method of removing small superficial lumps by freezing them. Some of the advantages for performing this procedure are, it can usually be done on an animal without the need for a general anesthetic and, it takes a relatively short time.

The lump or bump to be treated is usually clipped of hair and the skin cleaned, a local anesthetic is applied and then the area is frozen using liquid Nitrogen. The treated lump will simply fall off and the skin will heal completely within a few weeks.
