Monique was born in London, England, but was raised in various countries, including Canada. She spent most of her high school years in St. Catharines, Ontario, and from there went on to do a degree in Animal Biology at McGill University. Feeling the urge to return to the UK, she decided to attend vet school at the University of Glasgow, in Scotland.

Aside from traveling, Monique loves spending time with her fiancé Andy, and their two cats Haggis and Shortbread. She also likes to ski, swim, play tennis, and whenever possible, spend time in hot, sunny places! She looks forward to being a part of the amazing team at Ottawa Vets.
