Dr. Mijanou Lamoureux

Dr Mijanou Lamoureux was born and raised in Ottawa.  In her earlier years, she attended St. Pius High School and went on to study biochemical sciences at Carleton University.  She then proceeded to fulfill a lifetime dream and goal of successfully completing a degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College.  She was initially attracted to the Ottawa Veterinary Hospital for its emergency service, cutting edge medicine and advanced surgical procedures.  She loves the high energy pace of emergency medicine and has a special interest in neurology and surgery.  In her spare time, Mijanou loves activities involving the great outdoors- anything from hiking, swimming, waterskiing and running.  She is currently enrolled in a Martial Arts Kickboxing School which is most useful for staying active and keeping her motivated.
